Our mission: empowering voices, building connections
At Survivors Aloud, our most important goal is to provide comprehensive support for individuals affected by abuse across the Scottish Borders and wider Scotland. We aim to offer various settings and methods of support, building vital connections and fostering a sense of belonging. Our focus is on helping survivors reconnect with themselves and their communities in a safe, trauma-informed way, promoting empowerment and ensuring every voice is heard.

What makes us unique
What sets Survivors Aloud apart is our deep awareness of the unique challenges and strengths of rural communities. We offer support both in-person and online, providing talks and presentations on abuse, grooming, group-based exploitation, safeguarding, prevention, and recovery. Our work is consistently backed by trauma awareness and supported by professional personnel, linking with established local organisations and groups to ensure safety and autonomy for all.
