Our talks and who they are for

We offer a range of specialised talks, speeches, presentations, and keynotes, deeply rooted in lived experience and trauma-aware principles. Our aim is to shed light on the hidden world in plain sight, even in seemingly picturesque rural regions.

Topics we cover

Abuse, trauma, trauma impact, violence, grooming, exploitation, individual and group based sexual abuse and exploitation, recovery and rediscovery.

Who can benefit

Survivors, educators, care service providers, community leaders, safeguarding professionals, authorities, peer workers, agencies, survivor groups, and parents.

What you will gain

Attendees will feel empowered, informed, aware, strong, and connected, fostering greater understanding and resilience.

Our unique Scottish perspective

We understand the distinct challenges and strengths of the Scottish Borders and wider Scotland. Our talks highlight the importance of visibility, reducing isolation, and community pride.

Addressing rural challenges

Rural areas, including the Scottish Borders, present unique dynamics of isolation, separation, and perceived automatic safety. Our talks address these specific contexts, emphasising that even in close-knit communities, sensitive issues can remain invisible in discourse.

Connecting communities for resilience

Connecting communities is vital for prevention and protection. While close to urban environments, our distinct society faces limited resources and access due to location. Our talks bring visibility to these issues, reducing isolation and fostering pride in our communities.
